Sunstone gets its name from its unmistakable similarity to the sun, particularly when displaying dazzling reflections that indicate “flash” or chatoyancy (commonly caused by inclusions of Goethite or Hematite) J.D. Dana identified this mineral in 1837, and it has at least a few hundred years of history.
Healing Properties
Sunstone can be used to cleanse the aura and chakras, as well as to remove hooks from demanding loved ones, lovers, or anyone who drains your energy.
